- <H2> HP-CCSHigh Pressure Dry Coal Supply
- <H1> One of crucial sections in the gasification is focused on the high pressure coal supply with respect to investment, plant efficiency, plant availability, operation and maintenance. There are currently two principal ways for coal supply according state-of-the-art technology. One is the feeding via coal slurry which leads to adverse impacts concerning plant efficiency (e.g. by GE process) as a result of entrained water through the reactor. The other way is based on dry feeding which basically doesn’t impact the reactor performance by entrained water. The reactors fed with dry coal are designated by smaller size comparable with slurry fed reactors even thou other disadvantages ensue along the plant. The actual processing for dry conveying can be classified in three processes.
